With effect from 1 Jan 2024, South View Primary School’s Student Care Centre (SCC) will be managed by Singapore EduSmart Learning Hub.

About Singapore EduSmart Learning Hub ( EduSmart )

Singapore EduSmart Learning Hub was established in 2012 to provide a structured and conducive learning environment for our students after school hours.

EduSmart has been providing quality care to more than 1,000 students across several Singapore schools.

The SCC programme includes a holistic mix of Character Development, Enrichment Activities and Outdoor Activities. There is also supervised study time to complement the school’s teaching.

Monthly SCC Fees

The monthly SCC fees in 2024 is $245

The initial upfront tee consists of 1 month fee, deposit of $245 and registration fee of $20.    SCC T-shirt can be purchased at $11 per piece.

Our full-day SCC surcharge is $3 per day.

Assistance for needy families

We will assist eligible parents to apply for Student Care Financial Assistance, administered by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).

Operating Hours (Monday to Friday)

There is no change to the current operating hours, as follows:

School Term: After School to 7.00 p.m.

School Holidays: 7.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

The student care centre is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

We will provide more information on the centre’s closure days by end of the year to confirmed SCC students.

Invitation to existing SCC students

We welcome existing SCC students to continue in our SCC. For existing students, we will waive the registration fee of $20.

Please register your interest via the link SCC Registration of Interest, before 30 September 2023, so we can proceed to register your child/ward in our SCC.

All successful applicants will need to complete their registration and payment by end October 2023.

SCC Sharing Session in Mid October

We anticipate that parents/guardians may have similar concerns and we plan to organise a virtual SCC sharing session in mid October for parents who have registered their interest.
